Laura Jagdfeld is the director representing Wisconsin Buckskin Horse Association (WBHA), organized in 1972. WBHA is a non-profit club dedicated to the advancement of the Buckskin Horse and its members within the state of Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Buckskin Horse Association is a charter of the International Buckskin Horse Association, a color registry for buckskin, dun and grulla horses. The International Buckskin Horse Association was incorporated in 1971 to meet the needs and desires of buckskin owners throughout the world. IBHA operates on a worldwide basis with registered horses in fifteen countries as well as the US.
WBHA offers three show weeks per year with shows being held in Jefferson. The shows offer a full slate of IBHA classes for Open, Youth, Amateur, Miniature and Ranch exhibitors. All breed classes are also offered at WBHA shows allowing a wider group of exhibitors to come and show with WBHA. Year end awards are offered for all classes/exhibitors and we encourage people to join WBHA and nominate for our year end awards.
WBHA strives to be a family oriented association that is welcoming to all exhibitors through offering classes for everyone while promoting and furthering the horse industry within Wisconsin.
We invite everyone to come and join the fun! If you’d like more information on Wisconsin Buckskin Horse Association visit their website at www.wibuckskin.org or find them on Facebook! Laura would be happy to answer any questions you might have on WBHA as well.
